Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as part of a working trip to the Donetsk region on October 14, has visited the frontline positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the Joint Forces Operation, the press service of the head of state has reported.
"The president heard information about the operational and tactical situation in this area and got himself acquainted with the peculiarities of the use of anti-drone rifles," the report reads.
Zelensky also talked to the servicemen, observed the conditions of service and presented valuable gifts to Ukrainian defenders.
"Thank you for your service. You are defending our Homeland with dignity. Take care!" he said.
Zelensky also watched the drawings that the children sent to Ukrainian defenders on the frontline.
