The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 29.57 per euro.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has set the official forex rate for April 8 at UAH 27.10 to the U.S. dollar, which let the country's national currency, which has been gaining in value for the fourth day in a row, strengthen by 14 kopiykas.
The official forex rate against the euro for Wednesday is fixed at UAH 29.57 per euro – the hryvnia gained 18 kopiykas in value since Tuesday. As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank on April 2 conducted the third transaction to exchange cash dollars for cashless ones, transferring US$241.5 million to banks. The first transaction was US$180 million and the second one amounted to US$130 million. Since the middle of March, some Ukrainian banks have suspended sales of cash currency over its shortage caused by delivery problems amid limited international flights.
