Kyiv city recorded 628 new coronavirus cases on October 11, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
Since the start of the pandemic, the total number of confirmed cases in the capital has reached 240,884, he wrote.
Among people who have contracted COVID-19 over the course of the past day are 341 women aged 18-90 years, 228 men aged 19-88 years, 29 girls aged 1-17 years, and 30 boys aged 2-17 years.
Twenty-five lethal cases related to COVID-19 were recorded in Kyiv on October 11 (5,576 in total).
At the same time, 198 people have recovered over the course of the past day. In total, 222,881 Kyiv residents have overcome the disease.
As reported, Ukraine recorded 11,996 new COVID-19 cases on October 11.
