Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with President of France Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Friday, April 16, according to the news site RFI.
During the meeting, both parties will discuss the crisis situation related to the massing of Russian troops near Ukraine's borders and in the occupied territory of the country, the report said.
The date for the Ukrainian president's visit to France has been announced by the Elysee Palace.
Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak said in his speech to the Verkhovna Rada that Russia had deployed 28 battalion tactical groups along its state border with Ukraine, as well as in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Zelensky stated earlier that Ukraine was ready for a Russian invasion that could happen at any time.
