“The Republic of Turkey is not only an influential regional leader and partner for Ukraine, but also a strategic partner of Ukraine, with which cooperation at a high level is difficult to overestimate," Shmyhal said.

"Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey are united by strong economic ties and we have ambitious plans to build and renovate our infrastructure, including roads, bridges, energy and healthcare infrastructure, in other areas - water supply, sewerage, and waste disposal. Turkish companies have successful experience in these areas. Among the tools that will give us an opportunity to develop these areas are, of course, public-private partnership, these are state guarantees, we are working and have already made significant progress in the legislative field to promote such instruments in Ukraine,” Shmyhal said.
