Some 147 Ukrainians infected with the coronavirus COVID-19 are receiving treatment abroad, including 121 in Italy, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry wrote on Facebook.
In particular, Ukrainians with COVID-19 are being treated in Austria - 3, Italy – 121, Belarus – 3, Czech Republic 7, Russia – 3, Sweden – 2, USA – 2, and one each Ukrainian is receiving treatment in Moldova, Ireland, Germany, Uruguay, Thailand and Malta.

According to the ministry, nine Ukrainians have died from complications related to the coronavirus disease. At the same time, 73 Ukrainian abroad have overcome the disease.

In total, 18,938 Ukrainians have applied to Ukrainian diplomatic establishments abroad for assistance within the Zakhyst (Protection) program.
