The Cabinet of Ministers has approved draft presidential decrees on the dismissal of Vitaliy Turynok from the post of chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration and the appointment of Vitaliy Bohovin to this post.
The relevant decisions were made at a government meeting on Wednesday, May 20.

"There is a question on the dismissal of Chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Vitaliy Turynok. A letter of resignation has been written by agreement of the parties. And we have an issue on the appointment of Vitaliy Bohovin as new chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

In turn, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said that Zaporizhzhia region ranks third from the end of the rating on the effectiveness of the region’s chairman.

In addition, he noted that there is information from law enforcement agencies about open criminal proceedings against the deputies of the current chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky by decree of September 5, 2019 appointed Vitaliy Turynok the chairman of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.
