President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that current number of patients with COVID-19 allow the government to consider next stages of easing quarantine measures, according to the president’s press service.
“Current figures allow us to consider the next stages of easing quarantine and move forward with planning. However, we need to monitor the situation: the figures may change. We cannot allow large outbreaks of coronavirus," Zelensky stated during a traditional conference call in the President’s Office.

In particular, the Health Ministry stated about a decline in the number of patients with pneumonia.

During the meeting, measures taken by other countries to lift the coronavirus quarantine were discussed, as well as possible stages of easing quarantine restrictions in Ukraine.

It was announced that 569 food markets had already reopened in the country.

As reported, as of Tuesday morning, Ukraine reported 16,023 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 375 new cases in the previous day.
