Almost 600 healthcare workers in Ukraine have tested positive for the coronavirus Covid-19 since the epidemic began.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said this at a briefing on April 14, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 11,974 persons with suspected COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine, including 1,659 healthcare workers, 3,372 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed by PCR tests, including 594 healthcare workers,” Stepanov said.
According to the health minister, 64 cases of coronavirus have been reported among healthcare workers over the past day.
As of Tuesday morning, Ukraine reported 3,372 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 98 deaths and 119 cases of recovery.
