Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Dereck Chisora have faced off for the first time ahead of their high-anticipated May 23 fight.
The meeting will take place at the O2 Arena in London during a boxing evening broadcast by DAZN and Sky Sports.
The fight will be a serious test for Usyk, the former undisputed world cruiserweight champion, because his rival remains in the heavyweight elite. The Briton's victory over the Ukrainian will allow him to again be a challenger for the championship fight, as well as earn serious money.
Earlier, promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed that the winner of the Usyk-Chisora duel would be able to fight world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at the end of the year.
Usyk made his heavyweight debut in October 2019 when he defeated Chazz Witherspoon via TKO.
