Fifth Airbus helicopter arrives in Ukraine

The fifth Airbus helicopter H225 has arrived in Ukraine for the needs of the Unified Aviation Security and Civil Protection System, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry.
"On December 24, an ultra-modern Super Puma H225 helicopter landed at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany). Ukraine received the helicopter under an agreement between the Interior Ministry and Airbus Helicopters. It replenished the aircraft fleet of the Unified Aviation Security and Civil Protection System of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry," the statement reads.

Ukraine is expected to receive two more helicopters for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine until the end of 2019, and another 10 helicopters in 2020.

On July 14, 2018, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry signed a contract with Airbus Helicopters for the purchase of 55 H225, H145 and H125 helicopters for the ministry.
