Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov at a meeting with U.S. Chargé d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine William Taylor noted the effective cooperation between Ukraine and the United States, the Ukrainian parliament’s press service reported.
“We greatly appreciate comprehensive assistance provided by the United States, as well as powerful contribution to the development of democracy and parliamentarism due to the USAID RADA Programme,” said Razumkov.

The Ukrainian speaker emphasized that the parliament constantly receives support from the Programme, due to which many joint activities had been developed.

According to him, MPs highly appreciate the methodological and organizational assistance of the Programme. With the assistance of USAID RADA, an Education Center has been created where lectures are held for children from all over Ukraine.

“Institutions of the US Government provide support for a rather important aspect of activities of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” Razumkov said.

Separately, the speaker thanked for the logistical assistance provided by the United States to Ukraine, and expressed hope that Ukrainian-American relations will continue to be as effective.
