Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk today will announce the start of a program for financing Ukrainian startups, according to the Government portal.
"On December 2, 2019, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk will announce a program for financing Ukrainian startups," reads the report.

The meeting on the launch of the program will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Finance Minister Oksana Markarova, and Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund Lesia Sevruk.

At the end of 2019, the first Pitch-event can take place (a short presentation of business concepts to a tender committee). Based on its results, startups will be selected that will receive financial assistance.

As reported, the decision to launch the Fund’s grant program was made at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Startup Fund on November 27, 2019. The start date for accepting applications is December 2, 2019.

The Fund was established in July 2019. Since its launch, the grant program procedures were developed and a portal for accepting applications was created - usf.com.ua.
