Canadian political parties, regardless of their political position, support Ukraine in countering Russian armed aggression.
This issue was discussed during a meeting of Defense Minister of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk with the leader of the official opposition of Canada, the head of the Conservative party Andrew Scheer, the ministry´s press service reported.

“Canadian political parties, regardless of their position in the political spectrum, are actively supporting Ukraine in countering Russian armed aggression,” reads the report.

It is noted that conservative representatives emphasized that, despite political differences with the ruling party on other issues, conservatives in Canada show absolute solidarity with the authorities in the need to be true friends and partners for Ukraine.
