The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a resolution amending the Action Plan on the implementation of association agreement with the European Union, the Government portal has reported.
“The updated plan takes into account the deepening of the Ukraine-EU bilateral relations and a series of decisions adopted by the bilateral bodies of the Association Agreement in recent years. The Action Plan aims to ensure the accomplishment of the targets contained in the Government's Action Program, namely to achieve Ukraine's compliance with the criteria for EU membership,” reads the report.

It is noted that the amended document actualizes, supplements and coordinates the objectives with dynamically evolving EU law.

The updated tasks concern the following areas: customs and financial policy, taxation, entrepreneurship, financial services and competition; justice, social and humanitarian issues; transport; energy economy and energy efficiency; digital sphere, science, technology and innovation; nature management and others.

“The government's decision allows resetting the software for an operating system of European integration of Ukraine, which will accelerate Ukraine's movement towards the EU, make this process more transparent, and the authorities will become really accountable to citizens of Ukraine,” reads the report.
