Zhytomyr region has managed to attract $250 million in foreign direct investments since the beginning of the current year, according to the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.
“Since the beginning of the year, the amount of foreign direct investments in the economy of Zhytomyr region has reached almost $250 million. Investments have come from 51 countries," reads the report.

It is noted that there are more than 370 foreign investment enterprises operating in the region, which attracted more than $10 million in the first half of the year.

“There is a positive tendency of reduction in withdrawn capital. In particular, $2.5 million in foreign capital was withdrawn in the first half of 2018, which was 45% of its income, while in the relevant period of the current year, it was withdrawn $1.3 million, or 12% of foreign capital inflows,” reads the report.
