The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine expects that the number of Ukrainians visiting Turkey will reach 1.5 million by the end of the current year.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine Yagmur Ahmet Guldere said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“1.4 million Ukrainians visited Turkey last year. This year, the season is not over. Analyzing the figures we already have this year, I think we will reach the number of 1.5 million people by the end of the season,” said the diplomat.

According to the ambassador, apart from summer holidays, Turkey offers opportunities for winter sports.

“There are also medical tourism and sports tourism. Turkey offers good conditions for training camps, for example football teams, and individual trainings like cycling,” Guldere said.
