The resolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is crucial for the proper functioning of the OSCE.
Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz made a corresponding statement at the opening of the annual OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting in Warsaw on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Five years ago, Russia's aggression against Ukraine violated key OSCE principles, such as territorial integrity and inviolability of borders. The occupation of Crimea and Donbas pose a challenge to the security and functioning of the OSCE. The settlement of the conflict in Ukraine is crucial to preserve the OSCE's ability to build security in the region and the coexistence between the countries,” Czaputowicz said.
The Ukrainian official delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia participates in the OSCE Human Dimension Implementation Meeting which will last until September 27.
