Russia's hybrid military forces on August 9 mounted six attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire six times on August 10. The enemy opened fire on our defenders from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 10, 2019.
In the area of responsibility of the Skhid [East] operational-tactical grouping, the enemy fired four times at the positions of the Joint Forces near the villages of Lebedynske, Verkhniotoretske, and Talakivka (twice).
Another two attacks were reported in the Pivnich (North) sector outside the villages of Zolote-4 and Orikhove. There were no Joint Forces casualties in the past day. Since Saturday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions twice, the report said. "The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy along the contact line, while adhering to the ceasefire," reads the report.
