Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the head of the European Solidarity party, has said that he is not going to hide from anyone because it will be a great gift to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Poroshenko said this in an interview with the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper when asked how he sees his future if his interrogations and court hearings begin.
"There is nothing to blush for me. There are no facts that I should worry about. If it is political justice, my friends, I stopped being afraid of anything at the front in 2014. I absolutely don't care. I'm not going to hide from anyone because it will be a great gift to Putin. In fact, my opponent is not [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky. My opponent is Putin," Poroshenko said.
When asked if he intends to leave the country in the near future, Poroshenko said he was going on a vacation abroad for a few days.
