Ukrainian parties have already spent UAH 506 million on the parliamentary election campaign, the Chesno movement has reported, referring to data from the Central Election Commission.
"As of July 10, political parties collected more than UAH 568 million for the election campaign. Gross expenditures of parties according to their interim financial reports are UAH 506 million," the report reads.
At the same time, it notes that this amount will grow as the financial reports of several parties have not yet been made public.
The leader by the size of the election fund is Oleh Liashko's Radical Party – UAH 98.2 million. The Servant of the People party collected UAH 97.5 million, Holos – UAH 78 million, the Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman – UAH 72.2 million, the Opposition Bloc – UAH 69 million, European Solidarity – UAH 47.3 million, Batkivshchyna - UAH 35.4 million, Civil Position - UAH 21 million, Strength and Honor – UAH 19 million, and Samopomich - UAH 15.5 million.
In terms of the amount of funds already spent on the campaign, Servant of the People is ahead of the Radical Party. In particular, Servant of the People spent UAH 96.9 million on the election campaign, the Radical Party – UAH 73 million, Holos – UAH 71.6 million, the Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman - UAH 61.2 million, the Opposition Bloc - UAH 55 million, European Solidarity - UAH 47.2 million, Batkivshchyna - UAH 35 million, Civil Position - UAH 21 million, Strength and Honor - UAH 18.4 million, and Samopomich – UAH 15.2 million.
Traditionally, parties spend the most on advertising in the media, primarily on television. UAH 411.5 million was spent for this purpose, or 81% of the total expenditure of the parties.
