Ex-president of Georgia and ex-governor of Odesa region Mikhel Saakashvili rejected the proposal of Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko, Ukrainian media has reported.

“I have done my gesture, taking honest and friendly relations into consideration,” Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page adding that he does not intend to change his political plans. Kyiv mayor explains that he decided to assist Saakashvili, “who is in a difficult situation now”.

Two days ago, Vitali Klitschko offered Saakashvili to chair the Udar Party and lead it to the parliamentary elections.
