The situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas is controlled.
Ukrainian Joint Forces Commander, Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Syrsky reported this to President Volodymyr Zelensky during the meeting in Donetsk region on May 27, 2019, the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

The meeting was also attended by Chief of the General Staff - Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak and representatives of the security forces involved in the operation.

As Ukrinform reported, on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made his first working visit to Luhansk region where he inspected the frontline positions of Ukrainian military in Stanytsia Luhanska and Shchastia.

The head of state talked with soldiers about living conditions, food quality, equipment, housing, social package and staffing of units. In Stanytsia Luhanska, the president visited the frontline, in particular, the observation post and trench shelters.
