The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) has issued an investor warning about a Luxembourg entity.

The FMA announced that Monterry Finance located on Place de Paris in Luxembourg City is "not authorised to provide investment services requiring a licence in Austria".

"The provider is therefore not permitted to provide commercial investment advice in relation to financial instruments," the FMA added.

The warning comes after Luxembourg's financial watchdog, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), warned the public about the activities of Monterry Finance in October.

On Wednesday, the Luxembourg regulator also warned the public about the activities of a "unknown" entity named Community Trust Bank Group claiming to be established at Allée Scheffer in Luxembourg City.
