Ukraine has exported more than 20.6 million tonnes of grain crops since the beginning of the marketing year (July 2018 through June 2019), including over 9.7 million tonnes of wheat, the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has reported.
"Since the beginning of the current marketing year, Ukraine has exported more than 20.6 million tonnes of grain crops, in particular, more than 9.7 million tonnes of wheat (including almost six million tonnes of bread wheat and more than 3.7 million tonnes of fodder wheat), three million tonnes of barley, and more than 7.3 million tonnes of corn," the report says.
The report notes that in the current marketing year Ukraine also exported over 2.8 million tonnes of oil-bearing crops, which corresponds to last year's level.
According to the press service, in the same period of the previous marketing year Ukraine exported more than 19 million tonnes of grain, in particular, more than 10.7 million tonnes of wheat (including 5.9 million tonnes of bread wheat and more than 4.8 million tonnes of fodder wheat), more than 3.6 million tonnes of barley, and 4.1 million tonnes of corn.
