The Kyiv City Council has approved the city target program for the strengthening and development of international relations for 2019-2022.
The relevant decision was supported by 79 deputies of the city council, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"The target program will contribute to increasing the financial and economic opportunities of Kyiv through its representation in international institutions. The implementation of the program will attract new investments into the capital and help take its position in the international arena as a powerful economic and cultural center," the draft decision reads.
The total sum of funds to implement the measures envisaged by the target program makes up about UAH 87 million. On average, annual expenditures are projected at UAH 20-22 million. The amount can vary, considering changes in the city budget.
