Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar discussed the issues of enhancing security in the Black Sea Region.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzianyk stated this at a briefing on November 4.

"As part of the seventh meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Council, the Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak met with Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar. During the meeting, the defense ministers of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects for further development of military and technical cooperation, as well as the issues of enhancing security in the Black Sea Region," said Motuzianyk.

As reported, President Petro Poroshenko during the official visit to Turkey held negotiations on cooperation between the defense complexes of Ukraine and Turkey.
