Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Senik and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Mussher discussed steps to intensify a political dialogue between the two countries.
“On August 19, 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Senik met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Mussher. In order to develop the agreements reached between the foreign ministers of the two countries during a phone conversation on August 10, 2020, the parties discussed practical steps to intensify the political dialogue between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia,” the Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.
The ambassador thanked the Ukrainian side for the abolition of visas for citizens of Saudi Arabia and conveyed a corresponding letter from Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.
The interlocutors also agreed to pay special attention to the development of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the agricultural, scientific and technical sectors.
As reported, on August 10, the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, Dmytro Kuleba and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, agreed to resume online political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
