Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Ihor Petrashko and representative of the European Commission Katarína Mathernová discussed cooperation to stimulate the Ukrainian economy.

In particular, on July 29, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Ihor Petrashko and Katarína Mathernová, the Deputy Director General (DDG) for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations at the European Commission, held a meeting via video conferencing.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, who are responsible for economic cooperation and agriculture.
The minister expressed gratitude to the EU for its constant and significant support for the economic stability of Ukraine. He also spoke about the state of implementation of a comprehensive state program, developed by the government, to stimulate the economy to overcome the negative consequences of COVID-19.
In addition, during the conversation, the parties discussed the current state of land reform in Ukraine, mechanisms for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, the development and support of farming, and other important issues.
