Hungary is ready to continue to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine and to support its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“We, the Hungarians, will continue to uphold the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. We will continue to provide economic and humanitarian support and assistance to our Ukrainian friends, they can continue to count on us,” Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó said at the UN General Assembly meeting on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Hungarian Foreign Minister added that his country had allocated EUR 225 million for comprehensive support to Ukraine since 2014.
Hungary wants Ukraine to be a strong, safe and prosperous democratic country, Szijjártó stressed.
