Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk discussed with International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva the implementation of measures needed to endorse the IMF Extended Facility Fund program for Ukraine.
The meeting took place at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
"I and the IMF Managing Director discussed the progress of implementation of the preliminary measures necessary to endorse the EFF program agreed upon at the working level," Honcharuk posted on Telegram.
Ukraine’s Prime Minister thanked Georgieva for "constructive dialogue."
As reported, Ukraine and the IMF agreed on a new three-year Extended Facility Fund program to the tune of $5.5 billion. At the same time, the Fund welcomed the progress made by Ukraine in promoting reforms over the past few months and noted that the country should "focus on supporting macroeconomic policy."
