In November 2019, 173,000 people crossed the administrative border with occupied Crimea, according to the press service of the State Border Guard Service.
“There was a certain decrease in the number of citizens crossing the administrative border with the occupied peninsula last month. In November 2019, a total of 173,000 people crossed entry-exit checkpoints in both directions, which is 13,000 people less compared to the relevant period last year,” reads the report.
In addition, there was a seasonal decrease in the number of crossings in November compared to the previous month: 19,000 fewer people crossed the administrative border with Crimea (192,000 people in October).
Since the start of the year, the total number of citizens crossing the border with Crimea in both directions remains at the level of 2018.
