Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in New York to participate in high-level meetings with heads of state and government as part of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, the Office of the President of Ukraine has reported on Facebook.
"The president of Ukraine has arrived on a working visit to the United States to participate in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. Volodymyr Zelensky will make a speech during the general debate of the UN General Assembly session and will participate in the UN Sustainable Development Summit," the report said.
In addition, the Office of the President confirmed that the head of state would hold a series of bilateral meetings with the leaders of other countries. Negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump are also planned.
The Ukrainian president is also expected to meet with the leaders of the Ukrainian community of the United States and U.S. business representatives.
