A new customs will be set up in Ukraine by the end of September and its employees will be trained accordingly, Head of the State Customs Service Maksym Nefyodov has told an Ukrinform correspondent.
"I am currently the only employee in the new customs. The new customs will be created by the end of September," Nefyodov said in Truskavets on Monday, July 29.
According to him, a new adaptation course will be developed for future employees of the new customs office to prepare them for this work.
Nefyodov said his participation in a training program organized by the Servant of the People party in conjunction with Kyiv School of Economics for newly elected Ukrainian MPs was due to the fact that it is very important for people's deputies.
"If MPs work more efficiently, it will not only be better for the whole country and taxpayers, but it will also be much easier for me to carry out customs reform," he said.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Nefyodov head of the State Customs Service on July 5.
