Militants launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day. The enemy used the weapons banned under the Minsk agreements once.
“Russian-occupation troops shelled JFO positions outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Berezove (35km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol),” reads the report of the JFO Headquarters press center.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, Ukrainian troops came under 82mm fire near Chermalyk.
One Ukrainian serviceman was killed, another two were wounded in military hostilities in last day.
Today, militants have already launched three attacks on Ukrainian troops near Avdiivka, Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).
